A customer had a water appointment scheduled and Diane said a water technician would check to see if the issue was something simple (it was not). Had to have Mike come out at night for no cooling and he was wonderful. Explained everything and got the customer cooling again. Wanted to thank Diane, Josh and especially Mike for getting his air conditioning unit going again. It’s why he stays with Harriett’s.

A technician from Harriett’s was out today to clean my dryer vent and discovered that the power cord to the washer was horribly frayed. He told me that he could not in good conscience leave my home with that appliance connected to the outlet. I took him at his word and called my electrician who heartily agreed with your technician’s warning and replaced my washer power cord. Your technician saved my home and possibly more from what could have been a disaster, if I had run the washer as I had intended to do. Thank you Harriett’s for having such conscientious technicians!

I upgraded to a modern, efficient oil furnace in 2016. It was the best decision I have ever made, and I wish I’d done it sooner. There has been such an impressive drop in my fuel costs. I’m telling everyone I know not to put off upgrading their heating equipment.
There were two wild kittens born in our backyard. The AWA told us that we had to litter train them and get them to allow touching for at least two weeks before we could drop them off for adoption. We put them in a small bathroom a week ago and yesterday woke up to only one. The other kitten had pushed the very heavy brass floor grate off and disappeared into the heating ductwork. Thank you again for all of the work that Harriett’s did on my heating/air conditioning/energy-saving work. Even in all of this heat, the air conditioner hardly runs. The attic fan turns on early in the day and does most of the work. I can keep the thermostat at 73-75°, and it’s very comfortable. All this in addition to my monthly fuel budget figure going down $40!

Just wanted to take a moment and recognize the outstanding service I just received from Harriett’s Oil in Medford. After being without air conditioning for several days and working thru several contractors, I contacted Harriett’s to look at my problem and had them provide a repair proposal. During the course of the repair some unforeseen conditions arose that forced a delay and additional cost to the repair. Bob Harriett got involved personally and provided a portable cooling unit to get us thru this current heat wave, expedited the repair, and honored the original proposal. In today’s world of email and call backs, it is a pleasure to do business with a company that truly cares about their clients.
